Production of forged blank starts at the iron and steel works from making forged blanks and further tapping down by hot die forging for 2-3 transitions in the closed die. The blanks are forged by hydraulic presses with the power from 6 to 20 thousand of tons.
Ready forged blanks look like a “saucepan”. On the photo you can find forged blanks of 15,16,17,19,20 diameter.
